The Blount County Quilters Guild
To promote and preserve
the art and quality of quilts and quilting,
through friendship, knoweldge, and encouragement to others.

Our guild is made up of approximately 40 members that love to quilt!

We have a wide range of expertise from beginners
to the very skilled, with ages ranging from 12 to 85!
It doesn't matter what your skill level is, you'll fit right in!

Here is one of our 'most experienced' members, Lula...
still able to help baste a quilt from underneath at age 80 something!!!

Here are some of our younger members eager to learn from the best!

We meet at Palisades Park
located just outside of Oneonta, Alabama,
in the  Quilter's Cottage.
on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-2,
and on the
second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10-2.

We have our business meeting on the first Tuesday of each month.
During these meeting we also have a time of Show and Tell,
 this is always fun!

Classes for members are scheduled for the year.
